The Shops at The Inn at Little Washington

When you’re visiting The Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia, be sure to visit their shops, housed in their restoration of the Old Tavern. Built in 1740, the structure has the look of a classically beautiful, yet simple, Colonial town fixture. The building now houses a series of 5 charmingly decorated period rooms offering a wide variety of custom designed tableware, furnishings, gifts, antiques, jewelry, kitchenware and delicacies from our kitchen. Each room maintains its own identity much as it might have looked in the 1800s and the various products offered relate to the individual spaces. The old kitchen is now a store for spices, French sea salt, house made jams, pies, granola and cookies, as well our signature Dalmatian patterned chef’s pants and aprons inspired by our four legged mascots. The Dining Room features an array of glassware and fine china used throughout The Inn, as well as imported Laguiole knives. Pewter, silver, cigars, wine accoutrements and period antiques are available in the old Tavern Room, while the old general store section of the building now houses an art gallery showcasing paintings from select artists. The Inn at Little Washington will be launching their new online shop in the near future. In the meantime, to make a purchase or inquire about products please contact the shops directly at 540-675-5215 or visit The Inn at Little Washington website.
